Making a Difference

From War to Worker

N.A. a 24 year old man says, “I was orphaned at an early age and had been living at a Strait Foundation sponsored house in my home country until war broke out. With fighting raging and friends being captured and killed, I was really worried about my survival. Through the help of the Foundation, I was able to begin again in a new country and be part of a group that is like family to me where I feel loved. All of my needs have been met for the last 6 months. I am happy I have now found work in a factory.”

Thankful

Hello, my name is C.J.. My mother passed away when I was 6. After political unrest in my country and the Covid outbreak, it was challenging for our adopted mother so I needed to move out. DeoDance (Foundation Partner) helped me relocate to another country and has helped take care of daily essentials. I am thankful!

A New Start

My name is D.V.. I come from a family of many siblings. My father is an alcoholic and my mother struggled to take care of all of us. I was able to stay with Foundation personnel and they took me out of my war torn country to a safer place. For the past 10 months I am grateful that the Foundation has been providing for our living expenses without any expectation of repayment.
